The local Disaster Management Committee (Village DM Committee) is expected to be trained and empowered as first responders. Anganwadi workers/ ASHA/ Auxillary Nurse Midwife (ANM) of the village/sub-center will keep a watch on disease outbreaks and accordingly notify the Health centers.
